you should be saying “i have nothing against you smoking marijuana”. and honestly it’d be more effective to be KIND and HONEST to your friends rather than making a passive aggressive tumblr post.

unless you strongly feel the need to slightly condescend and slight (pun intended) people who do smoke.

I’m not saying you should be okay with marijuana smoke and other harmful things invading your body (or anyone else’s body), but passive aggressive rants are the most irksome because they give off an image of being mature and composed when in reality all there is, is a little crybaby.

And I’m saying this because you say as if it’s entirely their responsibility to make sure the smoke doesn’t touch your oh so precious lungs. No, it is also your responsibility to take care of your body. I felt like the way you phrased this post made it appear that you were pushing all the blame on them.

Sorry, this riled me up, so I probably exaggerated some things or said a few things I didn’t mean. I just felt like this post had a very condescending air to it, as if people who smoked were somehow inferior or they somehow owed you something because they smoked. If you do feel like that deep down, confront it. If you don’t, then I’m glad this was just a misunderstanding.
